Additional Pricing Information
- All pricing includes 10 TB of data transfer per month per customer.
- All Accelerator plans have a one-time setup fee equal to the one month charge for that size accelerator. For example, the set up fee on a 1GB accelerator is $125.
- To purchase the following add-ons, just open a support request at help.joyent.com or email support at joyent dot com .
- Additional bandwidth is priced at $0.15 per GB.
- Hardware load balanced Virtual IPs (VIPs) are $100 per accelerator node per month. For example, one VIP in front of 3 accelerators would cost $300 per month.
- Scale consulting services are available at $199 per hour.
- Accelerators come with one public IP address; Accelerators 1GB and larger also have one private IP address. Additional IPs are available at $60 per year with a $50 setup fee.
- Shared NFS/NAS storage is $0.15/GiB/month
- 10GB $1.50/month or $15.00/year
- 100GB $15.00/month or $150/year
- 1TB $150/month or $1500/year
- Note: 1/4 GB Accelerators can add up to 10GB local storage; NAS storage is not available on the 1/4 GB plan
- SSL Certificates are available
- Standard Cert: $60/year
- Wildcard Cert: $200/year
Upgrades
You can upgrade to a larger plan at any time. To order an upgrade, open a support request at help.joyent.com, or send an email to support@joyent.com.
Upgrades do not get charged with the full set-up fee. Instead, upgrades only incur an incremental setup fee equal to the difference between the setup fee you already paid for your current plan, and the setup fee for the upgraded plan. There is no fee for downgrading to a smaller plan.
Cancellations and Refunds
You can cancel at any time, with no penalty. Setup fees are never refundable.
If you cancel a monthly account in the middle of a monthly billing cycle, the cancellation will be effective the first of the following month. There is no pro-ration of the monthly fee.
If you opted for one of the discounted yearly plans and exited before end of year – your refund will be based on the monthly fee for that plan. For example, if you purchased the $1,250 yearly plan and decided to cancel after seven months, your account would then be closed out at 7 (months) times $125 (per month) = $875. Your refund would be $375.
* The 1/4 accelerator is not available for purchase on a monthly basis. The equivalent monthly fee that we would charge is $45 per month. This is the rate that would be used if you purchased a one year 1/4 accelerator contract and later decided to cancel it and request a refund.
